About Me

One of my favourite quotes is "luck is when preparation meets opportunity", and my professional life has been full of luck. While in school, I didn't know what I wanted to do (anyone else?), but travelling was, and continues to be a big part of my life, and I was really intrigued by working remotely. A little luck here and there post-graduation, and I've now been working remotely since finishing my undergrad. I ended up moving 2,587km away from my hometown of YEG, to my new home of YOW, with trips to a dozen or two other airport codes each year.

My primary focus is running my Ottawa web design company, Urban Block Media, helping out clients big and small across Canada. I've also worked with clients big and small in various marketing capacities across North America and Europe, developing and executing strategies and launching campaigns.

My alma mater is the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta where I graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce Degree (Hons) along with completing their Leadership Certificate Program, and can be found cheering on the Bears and Pandas varsity teams whenever I'm in town.

While I'm on the road a fair bit, I can be found most weekends hiking in the outaouais region, or reading at home.
